Developmental Asset Profiles as Moderators of the Association Between Intersectional Discrimination and Mental Health Among Black Sexual Minority Men.

This study looked at how having different kinds of support (called developmental assets) can help Black sexual minority men handle discrimination and its effects on their mental health. They found that those with more support were better protected from feeling depressed and anxious due to discrimination, but those with less support struggled more. Young people and those without stable housing had worse mental health overall.
