Impulsivity and Early Initiation of Sexual Behaviors in Adolescents with Externalizing Disorders.

This study looked at 96 teens with behavior issues to see if impulsiveness leads to early sexual activities. They found that teens who seek excitement were more likely to send sexts and engage in some sexual behaviors. This suggests that helping these teens manage their excitement-seeking could reduce risky behaviors.

Balancing pragmatism, norms and power relations: a qualitative study among post-abortion intrauterine device-users in central Uganda.

Almost half of all pregnancies in Uganda are not planned, and many women do not use intrauterine devices (IUDs) after abortions. This study looked at how women in Uganda managed social norms and challenges to use IUDs after having an abortion. Women found that making their own choices and getting good advice helped them use IUDs even if others didn't agree.
